can be defined as all the ways of life including arts, beliefs and institutions
of a population that are passed down from generation to generation.
Culture
has been called "the way of life for an entire society” such as it includes
codes of manners, dress, language, religion, rituals, arts etc.
Bangladesh
is a melting pot of races. She therefore has a mixed culture. Bangladeshi
culture is influenced by three great religions-Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam in
successive order, with Islam having the most pervading and lasting impact.
People of every religion celebrate their own religious festivals.
There are some common festivities which are observed countrywide by people inspective of races. Pahela Baishakh (the first day of Bangla year) is such a festival. National festivals are Independence Day (26th March), 21st February (the National Mourning Day and International mother language Day), The victory Day (16th December) Rabindra and Nazrul Jayanti etc.

Bangladesh want that the underprivileged children, like other children can grow
up with Bengali culture and spread their heritage to the world with the aim of
celebrating cultural day with the children of Bangladesh at the national and
international levels. The main objective is to introduce children with the own
cultural ideas. The main aim of Chayatal Bangladesh is to inculcate the
mindset and culture of celebrating Cultural days together in harmony with
children, ignoring gender, caste-religion, violence and hatred.
